AU 2006 – HK Participation

This year (2006), AU was held in Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas on 28 Nov 2006 until 1 Dec 2006. And there were more than 7000 attendees coming from all over the world. From Hong Kong, this year, there are 8 attendees and one speaker on Revit Structure, and he is Francis Leung, our AIAB Chairman!! His topic was "Successful Implementation in Revit Structure".

General Feedback

Overall, all customers felt they gained something from AU in various aspect and they all had very positive feedbacks. In their opinion, the speakers were really impressive and the majority of BSD customers felt that BIM is the right direction and Autodesk is the major player in BIM area. And for implementing BIM, Revit is the choice.

 

Feedback of HK Attendees

For them, Hong Kong attendees, all of them felt the trip is valuable, learning a lot and worth spending their time and money, and would like to learn more next year, and they will apply to be the speakers next year. They picked the right direction on implementing BIM by picking Revit. They also want to show more cases to worldwide about the large projects HK is doing at the moment. They would like to extend AIAB to AUGIAUGI HK/Asia/GC Chapter so that they can promote more HK projects internationally.
